Chilli Beef Stir Fry Another delicious recipe brought to you by AMP Meats


  1. Mix the soy sauce, rice wine and 5 spice together with a pinch of black pepper. 
  2. Marinade the beef in the soy sauce mix for at least 30 minutes. 
  3. Cook rice in boiling water as packet instructs.
  4. While rice cooks, add oil to a wok, fry onions, ginger and garlic until softening. Add the peppers and chilli, stir. Add the beef and fry for 1 minute.
  5. Dissolve cornflour in a little water to make a paste. Add 100ml chicken stock, soy sauce, and cornflour paste to the stir fry and stir until thickened. 
  6. Serve over rice garnished with fresh coriander and extra chilli.


  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps sake rice wine
  • 5g five spice powder 
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 30g green chilli, sliced
  • 28g ginger root, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 450g Butcher Box Rump Steak, sliced
  • 300g basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 10g cornflour
  • 100ml chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
