Our Delivery Policy
1. General Information
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will give you a call and offer to replace it with a product of equal or greater value. Should we not be able to offer a suitable replacement, we will refund you for any products not delivered using the original method of payment.
2. Delivery Location
Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses within Harare. Any shipments outside of Harareare not available at this time.
3. Delivery Time
An estimated delivery window will be provided to you once your Butcher Box order is placed.
The two delivery windows available are as follows:
Morning: from 0900 until 1230
Afternoon: from 1400 until 1600
Delivery times are to be used as a guide only. If traffic plays havoc we might be 20mins early or late. We thank you for your patience. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order within 1 business day of the date of your order (the day after your order has been placed and paid for). Business day mean Monday to Friday, except holidays. Please note we do not ship on Saturday and Sunday. Please note, we do not facilitate same day deliveries under any circumstance.
4. Delivery Instructions
You can provide special delivery instructions on the check-out page of our website. Please leave any relevant details or requests there.
Upon delivery of your Butcher Box a delivery note/invoice will be issued for signature, reflecting the items that are being delivered, Value-Added Tax and the amount paid.
You should always check that the items being delivered are correct and are free from any defects. Should the packaging be damaged and you accept the order without fully inspecting the items you should add a note on the supplier invoice (copy) stipulating that the packaging was damaged, or items were not inspected. Where there is an issue with the items detected after acceptance of the order, you should notify us without delay in order for us to be aware of any issues with the items and in order for arrangements to be made for the items to be returned and refunded. 5. Delivery costs
There are no delivery charges. We deliver free!
Returns policy
As your Butcher Box is a highly perishable fresh product, we do not accept returns nor facilitate exchanges of any items ordered except in exceptional circumstances once you have duly notified us by e-mail or telephone on the same day as delivery. Although reasonable care shall be taken, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect delivery details that have been provided to us, or if an unauthorised person at your chosen delivery address accepts delivery of your order as we do not verify the identity of the person at the delivery address who signs the delivery note.
