It is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an organisation that oversees food safety measures and certification around the world. Attaining this award cements AMP’s commitment to provide customers and consumers with quality meat that is processed from a factory that meets global safety, hygiene and quality requirements.

Additionally, the business has invested in a state of the art packing plant with modern machinery that produces an array of beef and other meat processed products like sausages, ham, polonies, biltong, patties, mince, and other fresh special cuts. Staff members are regularly taken through hygiene workshops to constantly maintain hygiene standards and uncompromised quality.
